Truths About Growing Old
1)  Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!
2)  Forget health foods - get all the preservatives you
     can!
3)  Time may be a great healer, but it’s a lousy
     beautician!
4)  You’re getting old when you get the same sensation
     from a rocking chair that you used to get from a roller
     coaster!
5)  It’s frustrating when you finally know all the answers
     and nobody bothers to ask you the questions!
6)  Wisdom comes with age, but sometimes age comes

You Have A Friend In Jesus                   "A Word from Ryan"

bear You've probably heard the story about the two boys who were hiking in the woods one day. They were miles away from civilization when they accidentally came upon a giant grizzly bear. The bear was about 20 yards from them, staring them down. One of the boys whispered in a trembling voice, "What do we do now?" The other boy very slowly and quietly sat down, removed his backpack, took off his hiking boots, and put on his tennis shoes. Watching all of this, the other boy said, "Why are you putting your tennis shoes on? You can't outrun a giant grizzly bear." To which the other boy said, "I don't have to, all I have to do is outrun you!" Well, have you ever felt like you've been used "bear bait?" Have you ever been cross of Jesus deserted by people? Have you ever been disappointed by your friends when they failed to respond to you when you needed them the most? Probably all of us have at one time or another. But the good news is that Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). If Jesus is your friend, no matter what the trial may be, you won't face it alone. The Lord will be by your side. Remember that!

I’ve learned that...

  1. no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
  2. regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.
  3. making a "living" is not the same thing as "making a life.
  4. even when I have pain, I don’t have to be one.
  5. people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
  6. I still have a lot to learn.
  7. every day you should reach out and touch someone.
Time change

Remember to set your clocks back one hour next Saturday night before you go to bed fall back so you will be on time for church Sunday morning!! If you go to bed @ 10pm - set your clock for 9pm.
