“O, Come Let Us Adore Him: Part Two”
By Glen Knabe

He is the Word, the Light of the world. He is the King of glory, the King of kings, the King of peace, the King of righteousness, the King of saints, the King over all the earth, He is the King. He is the Ancient of Days, He was from the beginning. Do you know Him? He is the Almighty, the Alpha and Omega, the Author of eternal salvation, and the Author of our faith. He is the Beginning, the Bright and Morning Star, the Bread of Life, and He is our Brother. Do you know Him?

He is the Chief Corner Stone, the Chief Shepherd, even the Chiefest Among Ten Thousand, Wonderful, and Counselor. He is the Everlasting Father, Everlasting God, Everlasting Light, Everlasting Strength, Everlasting to Everlasting and most Excellent. He is the First and the Last, the Firstborn of God, Firstborn from the dead, the First Fruits of them that sleep, a Friend to sinners, and He is that Friend that sticks closer than a brother. Do you Know Him?

He lives and He is Holy and True. He is the Holy One of God, God Himself, and the Great High Priest that intercedes on my behalf. He is the Great I Am, the Image of God, Image of the Invisible God, the One and Only True Living God. Do you KNOW Him? He is the Living Stone, the Lord, the Lord of all, Lord of glory, Lord of hosts, Lord of lords, and the Prince of Peace. He is the Master, the Mediator, the Messenger of the covenant, He is the Messiah. There is no end to His greatness. He is indescribable and unfathomable, beyond our understanding. Yet to me, He is my Foundation, my Shield, my Glory, my Fortress, my Shepherd, my Maker, my Savior, my All in All. Who is He? He is the Way and the Truth and the Life. Do You KNOW Him? He is Jesus Christ the Savior. O come, let us adore Him, but do you KNOW Him?

Joy In Christ                   "A Word from Ryan"

angel heralding joy What was the secret to Paul’s joy? Where did he find his joy? Consider these three verses from the New King James Version of the Bible:

Philippians 3:1 "Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord."

Philippians 3:3 "For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh."

Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!"

What was the secret to Paul’s joy? Jesus.  What should be the secret to our joy?  Jesus. True joy is found only in the Lord.

Let us never forget that, like Paul, we can rejoice in Christ. Remember, the God that you serve wants to bless you with joy.
